- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup butter

- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, spices, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth, then add honey and egg, mixing well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
- Chill the dough for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until firm to the touch.
- Let cool before decorating with icing.
