Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.

- Stir in the sauerkraut and smoked meat, then pour in the vegetable broth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
