- 6 cups mixed apples, peeled and sliced

- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add vinegar and mix until dough forms. Roll out and fit into a pie dish.
- In another bowl, combine sliced apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour the apple mixture into the prepared crust.
- Cover with another layer of crust, seal edges, and cut slits for steam to escape.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Let it cool completely before slicing.
