These delightful pączki are fluffy, homemade doughnuts filled with your choice of jam, cream, or chocolate, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Oil for frying
- Filling of choice (jam, cream, chocolate)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, letting it sit until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add eggs, melted butter, and the yeast mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, then place it in a greased bowl and cover to rise until doubled in size.
- Once risen, roll out the dough and cut into circles. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle, fold over, and seal.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry pączki in small batches until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Optionally, coat in powdered sugar or glaze before serving.
